Just wanted to drop an update about Germany...
After talking with the head of the Language Department on Monday, things are much clearer and in a direction. I told her what I'd like to do, and she gave me some more ideas as well. So as far as dates go and where I'll be, I think I've got that figured out. Here is the general plan:
8/3-9/24 (05)
Taking an "Intensive 8" language course at the Goethe-Institut in Göttingen

10/18-2/11 (05-06)
Start my first semester at Philipps University in Marburg (which is a few miles southwest of Göttingen)

4/11-7/15 (06)
Second semester at Philipps University

As you probably noticed, there is a 2 month break between semesters. And as to what I'm exactly doing, I don't know, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to tour around Germany and some surrounding countries! It should be fun. I'm also thinking about spending Christmas there, and going to the Brandenburg Gate on New Year's, and of course going to Munich for Oktoberfest. It should be fun.
